His recognition includes China’s 2022 Top Ten Portrait Photographers Award and a 2019 Bronze Pencil at The One Show for a project with Intel and WWF using AI to support Siberian tiger conservation. His work has been presented at Beijing Minsheng Art Museum, Yuan Museum, and the Poly Auction Art & Design Special preview.
Alongside his photographic practice, he has served as a visiting professor at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Opera and has given lectures at Xiamen University and other institutions. He founded One Person, One Photo, an independent portrait project that brings individual lives and stories into a wider cultural conversation.
Since relocating to New York in 2024, he has continued to develop cross-cultural portrait projects and undertake photography and film assignments. His approach centers on presence, trust, collaboration, and refined lighting—creating space for each person’s character and story to emerge.
